NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

I was recently introduced to The 52nd Street Project through a close friend of mine and am very excited to be running on behalf of this extraordinary organization.  It was founded back in 1981 by actor / playwright Willie Reale in response to a need to improve the quality of life for young people in the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood.  The mission of the organization is to bring kids together (starting at age nine through their teens) with theater professionals to create original theater offered free to the general public.  Today, The Project offers year-round playwriting and acting programs, varied arts programming (poetry, dance, songwriting, visual art), mentorships, and youth development programs (homework help, college prep, teen employment).  Please join me in supporting this special community-based arts organization and I hope you to see you along the course on race day!
