NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

I’m Lila Grimard, a 21 year old athlete graduating from Fordham University this May. I'm running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon as a charity runner for Friendship Circle of Brooklyn, a non-profit organization providing assistance and support to nearly two hundred individuals with special needs and their families by providing recreational, social, educational, and vocational programming.

As a longtime Best Buddies member, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful friendship and inclusion can be. Friendship Circle’s mission carries that same spirit: pairing volunteers with individuals who have special needs, and giving both the opportunity to build community and confidence.

Your donation directly supports programs that provide social, recreational, educational, and vocational opportunities for nearly two hundred families across Brooklyn.
