NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

I am exicted to be running my first half marathon for my dear friend Gabby, who lives with Neutral Lipid Storage Disease with Myopathy, a rare and life-altering condition. Gabby and her family are deeply dedicated to finding a cure and supporting others affected by this disease.

Through her foundation, they work tirelessly to raise awareness and fund research in the hopes of finding a cure. Every donation helps move this mission forward. Every single day is a challenge for Gabby, but that does not keep her from being one of the most positve and selfless people I know. I am lucky to have her as my friend.
