NYCRUNS Brooklyn Marathon & Half Marathon

I'm running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon this spring for two major reasons. The first is that I haven't run a half marathon since 2019 before the pandemic and am looking to break out of some of the physical hurdles that developed over the course of the pandemic. And the second reason is to support the work of transportation alternatives, their efforts to reclaim NYC streets for people over cars is not only a safer reality for our communities but a direct way to tackle climate change.
