NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2025
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
I will be running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon on April 27, 2025, in honor of our friend, Samantha Jacoff, and on behalf of Korean K9 Rescue.
Sam was extremely passionate about animal rescue. From April 2022 to her passing, she dedicated herself to the mission of Korean K9 Rescue as the organization’s adoption coordinator. She brought warmth, passion, and dedication to every adoption, and she made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path. Sam brought so much light into the world and made a difference in so many lives—both humans and canines.
In honor of Sam’s memory, I’m raising funds for the organization she cared about so deeply to celebrate her life and legacy. This fundraiser will directly support the rescue’s mission to help homeless and mistreated dogs in South Korea and locally in NYC and place them with loving, forever families. To date, Korean K9 Rescue has placed over 3,500 dogs in the tri-state area into adoptive homes with the help of Sam.
