NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2025

I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
Hi everyone! I'm excited to be running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon this April with Korean K9 Rescue, in support of their mission to help homeless and mistreated dogs in South Korea find loving, forever homes.
KK9R is an incredibly special organization to me, as they made me a very lucky dog aunt to Tei (aka Teity, Tei dog, Teiter). My sister and brother-in-law adopted Tei from KK9R in March 2021 and have been active alumni ever since. We're so grateful for everything they do and our lives are so so much brighter because of it.
This run is also in honor of KK9R's beloved team member, Samantha Jacoff, who unfortunately lost her battle with cancer last fall. From April 2022 to her passing, she dedicated herself to KK9R's mission as the organization’s adoption coordinator. Sam brought so much light into the world and made a difference in so many lives—both humans and canines—and is deeply missed.
KK9R has placed thousands of dogs in the tri-state area into happy and healthy homes, while also leading missions in South Korea to shut down puppy mills, slaughterhouses, and rescue dogs from high kill shelters. You can learn more at koreank9rescue.org and follow their IG @koreank9rescue for updates.
This fundraiser will directly support their mission and help ensure Sam's dedication and kindness can continue to make a positive impact. Really appreciate your consideration to make a donation—every bit helps. Thanks so much in advance!
