NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2025
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
I'm raising funds for Korean K9 Rescue in memory of Samantha Jacoff, who lost her battle to lung cancer this past fall. Sam had served as Korean K9's Adoption Coordinator since April 2022, and I'm moved by all the wonderful things I've heard about Sam's character, her deep passion for this great cause, and the profound impact she leaves behind on the people who were lucky enough to know her, and even those that didn't.
I'm actually one of those people who never had the pleasure of meeting Sam, but Sam's sister Aly and her partner Zach are dear friends, and I was honored when they invited me to run the race alongside them and knew that I had to step up to the challenge.
Please consider making a donation to continue the legacy Sam leaves behind at Korean K9, and the great work they do transporting homeless and mistreated dogs from South Korea and placing them with loving forever families in the NYC area.
