NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2025
I’m supporting Project ALS.
I believe in the power that research has to change lives and that is why I am fundraising for Project ALS. ALS is a devastating disease with no cure. In the 86 years since Lou Gehrig brought national attention to ALS following his own diagnosis, very few effective treatments exist, and none are a cure, rather they aim to slow the disease's progression. Project ALS aims to change that narrative by leading the charge in funding groundbreaking scientific research that will eventually lead to a cure.
Running the Brooklyn Half Marathon is my way of supporting this critical mission and honoring those whose lives have been forever altered by an ALS diagnosis. I'm running for those who no longer can. For the families who have received this diagnosis. For the people fighting every single day, hoping for a breakthrough that hasn't come fast enough. Every dollar raised brings us one step closer to a cure, and I am proud to be part of this fight. Together, we can make a real, lasting difference in the lives of patients and their families.
