NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2025

Exodus has been serving justice impacted individuals for the past 25 years through prison and jail-based workshops, substance use treatment, healing and restorative justice circles, community empowerment, gun violence prevention programs, policy & advocacy, housing and reentry services. (ie case management, cognitive behavioral change, job readiness/placement, and job retention services, vocational training, financial & digital literacy, support groups, and mentorship). We provide a hot meal to everyone who walks through our doors, and transportation to help participants to attend programs, go on job interviews, or go to appointments in order to meet conditions of parole. We are located in East Harlem, Poughkeepsie, and Newburgh; three communities with a high number of people impacted by the justice system, high poverty rates, and some of the highest incidents of gun violence in New York State. Your donation will help Exodus Transitional Community continue to deliver innovative programming to thousands of adults and youth affected by the justice system, reduce gun violence in our communities and give people a true second chance at rebuilding their lives.
