I’m supporting Exodus Transitional Community.

Hi! My name is Anna and I’ll be running my first half marathon! Not only did I want to push myself and complete a goal but I wanted this run to benefit someone else as well. After researching all the charities, Exodus Community stood out to me most. Growing up in NYC, we all know someone who’s been impacted by the system. While the system is meant to reform, more often than not it creates barriers instead of breaking them down. Exodus not only helps people but gives them hope that their life didn’t end when they were affected by the system and I found that to be truly inspiring. I’m happy to be running this race in support of their mission and help more people rebuild their lives.
