NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
Anyone who knows me knows I’m a huge animal lover. I’m everyone’s dog sitter, dog walker, and a big believer in giving animals the safety, love, and second chances they deserve. Never having a pet of my own growing up, all the love just went straight into caring for every animal I could.
This year, I decided I want my first half marathon to make an impact beyond my personal goal. Running for a cause felt right, and running for animals in need felt like me. That’s why I’m fundraising for Korean K9 Rescue, an organization that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters from South Korea and gives them the chance at the life and love they deserve in the US.
If you’re able to donate, please know that there is no amount too small—every dollar truly makes a difference for these dogs who are waiting for safety, care, and a home. Thank you for supporting a cause that means the world to me (and to so many animals who can’t speak for themselves). 🐾💛
