NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

Hello! My name is Lucas and I am happy to be participating in the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon in 2026! I am so happy and grateful to be partnering up with the Gabby’s Wonderful World Foundation in fundraising for research and treatments for Long Island Native, Gabby Zeppieri who currently is a 1-in-a million case of an ultra rare disease she is suffering called NLSD-M. I am joining this cause to help fundraise towards future research, treatment and one day God willing, a cure! I am running for you Gabby! 13.1 miles is worth it when it’s for a purpose! In March, 2025 I started my running journey alongside my Amazing wife, Janice, who was able to convince me to start running with her lol. After months of running different races like 5Ks, 10Ks and 5 Milers all around Long Island, I am stepping up to the challenge to start training for this Half-Marathon! This Win is for my Wife, My 2 Boys Matthew and Joshy and Gabby’s Wonderful World Foundation for Gabby Zeppieri! All donations to this cause is one step closer to a cure!
