Running has always been a passion of mine. It’s a privilege to wake up every day and move my body. I love running for the joy and health it brings, but running for a cause gives it a whole new meaning.
I’m running this half marathon for Exodus Transitional Community, a New York nonprofit that supports individuals impacted by the justice system through reentry, rehabilitation, and holistic programs that help them rebuild their lives with dignity and opportunity. With my background in public health, I’m passionate about community health and I am honored to be able to bring awareness to organizations doing meaningful work at the local level. Every mile I run is a way to combine my passions and help make an impact that truly matters!
