Why am I running?

When the event of running a half marathon was presented as a fundraiser for Gabby and Gabby's Wonderful World, the thought of participating was instantaneous! I thought of my beautiful daughter who struggle every moment of every day and she does it with a smile and grace. NLSD-M is literally robbing Gabby of mobility... muscle by muscle and as her mom watching this is heartbreaking. So, in the world of rare diseases when the patient and loved ones feel helpless and have no control, being able to run for Gabby and all the other patients that are suffering is a way for me to raise funds for research... bring awareness to NLSD-M and advocate for Gabby and others with NLSD-M. Make history with me and help me change Gabby's future and others with NLSD-M to one filled with promise and hope!
