NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

I’m running a half marathon to support my daughter’s nonprofit because rare diseases affect millions of families, yet they often receive limited awareness, funding, and research. Our family has seen firsthand how isolating and overwhelming a rare diagnosis can be, and how critical community support is for patients and caregivers. Every mile I run is meant to raise awareness, inspire compassion, and help fund resources, advocacy, and research so families facing rare diseases know they are not alone. This race is about turning love for my daughter into action—and helping create hope for those living with rare conditions.
