NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
When I decided to run this marathon, I knew I wanted to run for a good cause and it only made sense to choose Korean K9 Rescue due to my love for animals. Korean K9 Rescue is an organization that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters and the puppy mill industry in South Korea, and helps them find homes while advocating for animal welfare reform.
I wanted to run my first half marathon not just as a challenge, but to honour my body and everything it allows me to do. Training for this marathon has reminded me how grateful I am for my strength, my health, and my ability to move, push myself, and grow both mentally and physically. So why not run for something bigger than myself?
