WHY AM I RUNNING?

When this half marathon was presented as a fundraiser for Gabby and Gabby’s Wonderful World and Gabby asked me to run on her behalf. I agreeded only if we could cross the finish line together!

Gabby faces battles most of us can’t imagine. Every day, every moment, yet she continues to show up with strength, grace, and heart. Watching someone you love fight a rare disease that steals mobility and independence is heartbreaking… and it can make you feel helpless.

So I’m turning 13.1 miles into something bigger than running. I’m running to help raise funds for research, awareness, and support, and to remind Gabby (and every family living with rare disease) that they are not alone.
