NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

The transitional process from incarceration is an uphill climb, and I've been a first hand witness of this experience in many phases of my life. I've watched friends, and family members struggle to reclaim their place in society. The correctional system claims to be intent on rehabilitation, but it often fails in allowing its graduates the opportunity to grow beyond their tenure within it. 

Answering the call to run and represent Exodus during this year's NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon was a no brainer for me, and I'm excited to run and represent the people who society has tried to limit from progression.
