I’m supporting Young New Yorkers' Chorus.

I’m running this half marathon for YNYC because I believe in the incredible power of community that forms when people come together to make music. YNYC isn’t just a choir — it’s a space where strangers become friends, voices become one, and community is built note by note.

But for this mission to thrive, there are real, everyday needs behind the scenes. From printing music to organizing rehearsal and performance spaces, keeping a choir accessible and sustainable takes resources. And with stronger fundraising, YNYC can expand its outreach — bringing music into the community through volunteer performances, partnerships, and service projects that spread joy and connection far beyond the stage.

I’m running because I’ve seen firsthand how transformative singing together can be — how it lifts spirits, builds belonging, and reminds us what’s possible when people show up for one another. Supporting this run means supporting that mission: more voices, more harmony, more community.
