NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026

This year is going to be one of the most meaningful years of my life. I’ll be running the Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon — and just a few months later, I’ll be stepping into my most important role yet: becoming a dad to a baby girl. As I prepare for fatherhood, I’ve been thinking a lot about the kind of world I want my daughter to grow up in. I want her to feel confident in who she is. I want her differences to be celebrated. I want her to have access to the tools and support she needs to thrive — no matter how she learns, thinks, or experiences the world. That’s why I’m proud to run in support of Understood.org. Understood.org is a national nonprofit shaping the world for difference.
They support the 70 million people in the United States who have learning and thinking differences like dyslexia and ADHD.
