I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.

I will be running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon on April 26, 2026, in honor of Samantha Jacoff.

In honor of Sam’s memory, I’m raising funds for the organization she cared about so deeply to celebrate her life and legacy. This fundraiser will directly support the rescue’s mission to help homeless and mistreated dogs in South Korea and locally in NYC and place them with loving, forever families. To date, Korean K9 Rescue has placed over 3,500 dogs in the tri-state area into adoptive homes with the help of Sam. I never had the fortune of meeting Sam, but I’m friends with her little sister, Aly. Through Aly and through the many stories I’ve heard it’s clear how much heart Sam poured into her work with Korean K9 Rescue.
