I’m supporting Stella Adler Studio of Acting.
Hey y'all!!!
I'm Aiden, a second year acting student in the Adler–NYU program! Art will always have a special place in my heart. Since coming to the Stella Adler Studio of Acting my connection to the arts and acting has blossomed with such raw vibrancy—it opened my soul wide open. Language, poetry, movement, humanity, all of it. I love acting. I love telling the stories that need to be told. I love the potential we have as artists to speak truth to power and give voice to those who cannot speak up for themselves. To me art will never not be radical. Especially in the times we live in. Acting is my passion. It is my soul. It is my purpose in this life. It is my dream-turned reality and Stella Adler makes that dream possible.
Every dollar you donate helps the Stella Adler Studio for Acting continue its mission of bringing the magic of acting to ambitious artists of all age-groups and backgrounds. We have youth programs, summer intensives, workshops, conservatory programs the list goes on. All of it lead by masters of their craft. Every donation makes acting more accessible.
Why Arts Access Matters:
1) Students involved in the arts are 2× more likely to graduate high school. (National Endowment for the Arts)
2) Low-income students who participate heavily in the arts are 5× more likely to graduate college. (National Endowment for the Arts)
3) Neighborhoods with strong cultural participation experience 18% lower serious crime rates. (University of Pennsylvania – Social Impact of the Arts Project)
4) Communities with greater arts engagement see 14% lower rates of child abuse and neglect. (University of Pennsylvania)
5) Adults who participate in the arts report 15–20% higher levels of overall well-being. (National Endowment for the Arts)
6) A World Health Organization review of more than 3,000 studies found that arts participation supports mental health, emotional resilience, and trauma recovery.
7) Creativity is consistently ranked among the top skills needed in today’s workforce, yet access to arts education continues to decline in many underserved communities. (World Economic Forum)
Imma be real with y'all, before this I was not a runner—couldn't get past one mile without a stitch in my side. Now that I'm in it, I'm giving it all I got so I'll need all the support I can get! Every donation counts!!
Ok I'm done yapping now thanks guys :))))
