NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
It is so hard to believe that it has been over 3 three years since we received the heart-breaking news of Sam's incurable lung cancer diagnosis which resulted in her death at the age of 37 a little over 17 months ago.
And of course while we all know that nothing can replace the forever pain we feel, it is so important for us to make sure her memory stays strong within us which is where our support of Korean K9 Rescue is paramount
Sam was extremely passionate about animal rescue . She dedicated herself to the mission of Korean K9 as the organization's adoption coordinator. She brought warmth, passion and dedication to every adoption, and she made a lasting impact on everyone who crossed her path. She made a difference in so many lives-both human and canines.
In honor of my daughter, I'm once again raising funds for the organization she cared about so deeply to celebrate her life and legacy. This fundraiser will directly support the rescue's mission to help homeless and mistreated dogs in South Korea and locally in NYC and place them with loving forever families. To date Korean K9 Rescue has place4d over 3,500 dogs in the tri-state area into adoptive homes with the help of Sam.
Please consider making a donation, it would mean so much to myself and her family that you have taken a few moments to remember her while helping such a worthwhile cause.
Thank you for your generosity and for helping me honor Sam in this meaningful way
