NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting The Anne Kastor Brooklyn Free Clinic.
Hi everyone! I am so excited and proud to be running the Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon in support of the Anne Kastor Brooklyn Free Clinic, a student-run clinic dedicated to expanding access to comprehensive healthcare for uninsured and underserved members of our Brooklyn community. As a nursing student at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, health equity and access to care are deeply important to me. The BFC works to provide primary care, medications, STI/HIV testing, psychiatric services, physical therapy, social work & counseling, and health education to patients who otherwise would have nowhere to turn. Many of these patients have no health coverage at all. Friends of mine who volunteer and run the clinic consistently share the urgent need for supplies and resources to continue serving these vulnerable populations. Every dollar raised will go directly to patient care, helping ensure that individuals in our community receive the essential services and support they deserve. I am so grateful for your consideration to donate to this life-changing cause!
