NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Understood for All, Inc..
This April, I’ll be running the Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon in support of the incredible work being done by Understood.
I’m proud to be part of the campaign Miles for Minds That Think Differently, which highlights the connection between physical health and brain health. Every mile I run represents a commitment to helping neurodivergent kids get the understanding, support, and opportunities they deserve.
Millions of children learn and experience the world in ways that don’t always fit traditional expectations. Understood works to change that by providing families, educators, and kids with the tools and resources they need to help neurodivergent learners thrive.
Running 13.1 miles is a challenge, but it’s nothing compared to the daily obstacles many neurodivergent kids face in systems that aren’t built with them in mind. Through this run, I hope to raise awareness and funds that will support Understood’s mission and empower more young people to recognize their strengths and reach their full potential.
If you’re able, please consider supporting this cause. Every contribution helps move us closer to a world where different ways of thinking are understood, supported, and celebrated.
