NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
On April 28, 2026, I’ll be running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon in support of Korean K9 Rescue and in celebration of my dear friend and colleague, Samantha Jacoff.
Sam joined our team in April 2022 as our Adoption Coordinator and quickly became such an important part of KK9R. She brought so much heart, humor, and dedication to every dog and every adopter. Because of her, hundreds of dogs found loving homes, and we miss her every day.
Sam loved her Brooklyn community and the dogs we care for. Running this race feels like a way to carry her forward alongside her family, our team, and everyone who believes in this work.
In her honor, I’m raising funds to support Korean K9 Rescue. Your support helps us rescue dogs from neglect and abuse, provide the care they need, and place them in safe, loving homes. Since 2018, we’ve helped over 4,000 dogs start new lives, and we’re not stopping.
If you’re able, please consider donating or sharing. It truly makes a difference and helps us continue the work Sam cared so deeply about.
Thank you for being part of this.
With gratitude,
Nick Sadiku
