NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
On April 26, 2026, I will be running the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon for Korean K9 Rescue (KK9R), my second year running with this organization that means so much to me.
Animal welfare has always been a huge part of who I am. Over the past year, I’ve continued fostering dogs in my home and deepening my involvement with KK9R. Adopting my dog Butter completely changed my life, and watching him grow into the happy, loving dog he is today is a constant reminder of why this work matters.
This year, we are also running in honor of Samantha Jacoff, who made a lasting impact on KK9R before her passing. While I didn’t have the chance to know her personally, her dedication to rescuing and rehoming dogs continues to inspire this community and the mission we’re supporting.
KK9R has placed over 3,500 dogs into loving homes, and every dollar raised helps give more dogs the second chance they deserve.
