NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon 2026
I’m supporting Korean K9 Rescue.
I'm running my first ever half-marathon for none other than my first ever handsome silly smart puppy Banana, and Korean K9 Rescue who brought this perfect guy into our lives.
Banana has been with us for almost a year now, blossoming from a little shy guy to a big beautiful boy who now confidently plays with other pups and humans alike. He is the brightest light, most chaotic ball of joy and the sleepiest little man, and as he grows and learns and tries new things, I'm also trying new things, like running long distance.
I can't think of a better way to celebrate his Gotcha Day (May 3!! Just a week after the race!!) than supporting Korean K9 Rescue. This wonderful rescue organization transports homeless and mistreated dogs from South Korea and places them with loving forever families, and any support you can give to them means everything to me, and my goofy little Banana.
Oh, Banana would like to say something too:
