The John Jay Jaguars Athletics program showcases NYC high school athletes from five different public high schools: Cyber Arts Studio Academy (CASA), John Jay School for Law (LAW), Millennium Manhattan High School, Millennium Brooklyn High School, and Park Slope Collegiate. All five schools are Title 1 schools and all students recieve free school lunch.
The Friends of John Jay Jaguars Athletics, Inc., is a NYS Charity, recognized as a tax-exempt (501c3) non-profit organization by the federal IRS. Through our fundraising, we support economic and racial equity in the John Jay Jaguars athletics program, so that students from all five high schools can benefit from the advantages of athletic team participation, regardless of ability to pay.
The John Jay Campus HS Jaguars track & field teams consist of public school student athletes in NYC. The program comprises of over 70 student-athletes from diverse backgrounds, who are committed to the rigors that come with participating on a competitive high school sports team. In the recent past, our athletes have shown success citywide, and at the state and national levels.
Your contributions will support our student-athletes, cover meet/invitational entry fees, senior gifts, and stipends for our hardworking and dedicated coaching staff. Our high school does not have a home track where we can host meets and therefore have to travel every weekend, coordinate transportation, and purchase team equipment needed for daily practices and competitions. Your donations will not only help us reach our athletic goals, but it will also provide us with the resources we need to improve our performances and represent our school with pride.
If you've ever saw our athletes in action, they compete with determination, grit, and perform with pure heart to push their limits and achieve their personal bests. To get our athletes to reach their full potential and compete at a high level across the city, state and nation, your support is needed.
