Who We Are: GJA, founded in 2003, is New York City’s only independent middle school providing generous financial aid to all families, ensuring that access to an excellent education is not limited by income. Our mission is to cultivate bright, compassionate young men by instilling the core values of Courage, Integrity, Empathy, and Leadership. As an all-boys school we are dedicated to the academic and personal development of young men of character.
What We Do: GJA fosters excellence in our students with an academically rigorous curriculum, small classes, a nurturing community environment, high school placement support, and an engaged alumni network who continue to support the GJA mission. Over the course of their GJA career, young boys become confident, assured young leaders who are selected to attend prestigious high schools in New York and around the country.
