NYCRUNS Brooklyn Half Marathon

Great Oaks Charter School in New York City, also known as GO-NYC, cultivates student learning in a supportive environment. Our approach is organized around the design principles of Mastery, Leadership, and Community, providing challenging academics with a well-rounded approach to the whole child. We combine project-based learning, an advanced curriculum, and supplementary tutorial and mentorship support through AmeriCorps Fellows to maximize student agency. During the COVID-19 pandemic, education suffered, and our community was no exception.
