currently, over 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and millions more are faced with the financial and emotional challenges of caring for a loved one with the disease. There is no cure. If current trends continue, Alzheimer’s will bankrupt families, communities and our healthcare system. The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
