I am running the Brooklyn Half Marathon in support of Sanctuary for Families to raise awareness for domestic and gender-based violence. Sanctuary for Families is New York’s leading service provider and advocate for survivors of domestic violence, sex trafficking, and other forms of gender-based harm. This incredible organization empowers survivors by providing services, educating the greater New York community, and advocating for lasting systemic change, all while safely helping individuals rebuild their lives.
