Please support me in supporting the Young New Yorkers Chorus as I run my 2nd Half Marathon (and second in Brooklyn!)
In my three years in YNYC, I have had the oppurtunity to perform with Pentatonix, for a national advertising campaign for Morningstar Financial Services, at an ACDA state conference, and in some of the most beautiful performance spaces in NYC. As a professional musician and choral music educator, these experiences have been paramount in my development as a performer and leader of young people.
More importantly, I have found a community of young women that have become some of my best friends as we have all collectively navigated our early professional careers in NYC post graduation. YNYC has been a sanctuary for me throughout what would have otherwise been an extremely tumultuous period of my life. Singing with YNYC’s Treble Ensemble has been one of my great joys as a young adult, and I hope you can join me in supporting this organization as it has supported me.
